Congratulations to TMSA Cross Country Teams: Nishant Finishes First at Adidas XC Challenge
Dear TMSA Triangle High School Family,
We are well into the school year and our students’ remarkable achievements have started to pour in. I will share them with you throughout this week!
Let's kick things off by highlighting our exceptional student-athletes of TMSA Triangle Cross Country Teams.
On Saturday, our high school boys' and girls' teams competed in the Adidas XC Challenge at WakeMed Soccer Park. This is a multi-state event where over 3,000 high school runners compete in one of ten races throughout the day.
* Nishant Srinivasa achieved an incredible victory in the race, setting a new school record with a remarkable time of 18:21.80! Don't miss his interview.
* Freshman Ashvin Manoj also distinguished himself as a top-10 finisher in the boys' race, securing an impressive 7th place. Notably, Ahmad Abou-Nouar (17th) and Sina Dehghani (24th) delivered top-25 performances.
As a team, our boys achieved a commendable 3rd place overall in the heat. In the girls' race, Freshman Yashika Jagadeesh displayed her talent by finishing 16th.
I congratulate each of them for their exceptional performances. I would also like to thank our dedicated Cross Country Coaches, Mr. and Mrs. McCloughan and our Athletics Director, Mr. Childress for their steadfast support and invaluable guidance.
